Perdita Felicien took first spot in the women's 100-metre hurdles at the
Olympic trials clocking a solid 13.15 seconds. In January at the 2000 NCAA
Championships she posted one of the fastest times ever by a freshman with a
time of 12.91, a personal best mark. Felicien is currently in her second
year at the University of Illinois studying kinesiology. Her brother, Sam
competes in professional tae kwan do but is not at the Olympics.
