  One of four veterans from the 1996 team, forward Dianne Norman has competed in over 100 international matches including 17 last season at the Pan Am Games and the Olympic qualifier where she averaged nearly eight points per game. She played part of the 1999-2000 season in the Spanish pro league and was in the Swiss pro league the previous year. She majored in philosophy at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ont., where she led the school to CIAU titles in 1990 and 1991.
