Scott Bellavance gained the fourth and last spot on the men's moguls team by placing 10th at a World Cup event in January in France. At the time he was battling Ryan Johnson of Calgary for the spot and had actually eliminated him from contention for a berth. However Johnson was named to the team when Pierre-Alexandre Rousseau announced he could not compete due to a serious neck injury.
"The qualification was tough for me, I didn't sleep well," said Bellavance.
