A member of the 1998 Olympic women's relay team that won bronze in Nagano, Tania Vicent's experience will be a key factor in determining
Canada's success in women's short track speed skating at Salt Lake City.
While she has toiled in the shadows for the past few years, Vicent is a talent in her own right. She was fifth overall at her sixth appearance at
the world championships last season posting three top-five finishes.
At the Olympic trials in November she was fourth overall and just missed earning berths to race the 1,000 and 1,500.
