Back Street Boys going back to Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Backstreet Boys are coming -- and this time, they promise they'll make it.

The best-selling band of 1998 will perform Nov. 18 at the Target Centre to make up for the Sept. 13 show cancelled at the last minute.

About 19,000 fans were waiting for the band to take the stage as the last of eight bands during the Last Chance Summer Dance when an official from sponsor KDWB Radio announced the band would not appear.

The 25-year-old sister of band member Howie Dorough died of lupus in North Carolina. The group planned to perform as a quartet, which it's done before but one member was stranded in Florida partly because of the Northwest Airlines strike.
