Hurricane detours Backstreet Boys
By STEPHANIE McGrath -- AllPop
Not even the Backstreet Boys can battle Hurricane Floyd.
A report in Live Daily says the storm forced the Backstreet Boys to reschedule the first two dates of their sold-out North American tour.
Originally, the tour was to open at the National Car Rental Center near Miami on Tuesday and Wednesday.
But strong winds and heavy rain fall put a damper on the group's plans.
But don't worry, Backstreet will be back. The first two dates have been rescheduled for Dec. 5 and 6.
The next stop for the boys is Sept. 17 in Charlotte and then on to Washington D.C. for Sept. 18 and 19.
Concert organizers say tickets for the rescheduled shows will be honored for new dates. If you do want a refund on tickets, go to the original place of purchase.
