Backstreet Boys get rave review

The Backstreet Boys kicked off their concert last weekend to screams of appreciation and adoration.

A report by Lisa Taylor in Wall of Sound, said the Backstreet show is a slick event. Their dance moves are perfectly synchronised, their songs harmonised and their effects spectacular.

From Taylor's perspective, Nick Carter is still the Backstreet Boy of choice for many female fans who shrieked whenever his face appeared on video screens. (The rumour is that Carter will be the first with a solo project).

The boys started the night off with "Larger Than Life" and satisfied their fans with hits from both albums.

There's no doubt that the super-group will be around for a while. The Backstreet boys have sold seven million copies of their new album, "Millennium" in four months and 765,000 tickets for the shows were sold within hours of going on sale.
