AllPop readers pick 'N Sync over Backstreet

It was a close race but in the end, 'N Sync won the battle.

In the last AllPop survey, the majority of the voters said if they had free tickets to 'N Sync and Backstreet Boys' concerts on the same night, they'd choose the 'N Sync concert.

'N Sync beat out the Backstreet Boys by a slim margin though. Out of 811 voters, 53% chose 'N Sync while 47% chose the Backstreet Boys.

Most of the voters weren't willing to pay more than $50.00 for tickets to either band's shows though.

If the earth needs to be defended when the calendar hits the year 2000 in a month, most of the AllPop voters think J.C. from 'N Sync is the man for the job. A.J. from the Backstreet Boys was a close second but voters thought he just didn't have the right stuff to fight off Armageddon.

Most of the voters thought the Backstreet Boys were brainier than 'N Sync though. Forced to choose between Kevin from Backstreet and Joey from 'N Sync, voters picked Kevin as the person they'd trust to take their final exams.

On a romantic note, when most of the AllPop voters dream of dates with famous pop stars, they imagine joining Brian from Backstreet for dinner or a picnic in the park and day-dream about going sailing with Chris from 'N Sync.

If a lucky fan just happened to be stranded on an island with a band member, most preferred to be stranded with Justin Timberlake from 'N Sync over Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys.
