Backstreet donation held-up

The Backstreet Boys' plans to donate $75,000 to the Columbine College Fund are stalled.

Financial trouble is interrupting the group's plans to donate after they found out that 1,200 tickets for their Denver show were scalped for $110 each, MTV reported.

The Columbine College Fund, a charity that helps students who lived through the highschool shooting to continue their education after highschool, is going to collapse because of lack of funds.

The Associated Press reported that the San-Fancisco-based charity has only received $800 in donations.

House of Blues, the concert promoter in Denver that was asked to make a donation by the Backstreet Boys, is looking for another charity to donate the money to.

The House of Blues wants to ensure that the money benefits students at Columbine High School.
