Marion Raven is one half of the Norwegian pop duo M2M (Marit Larsen is the other), which released their album "Shades Of Purple" last winter. Marion sat down with AllPop recently to talk about what's hot -- and what's definitely
not -- in clothes, movies, music and more.

CDs
Hot: Vertical Horizon - "Everything You Want"
Not: Too much R&B get down music. (Marion doesn't seem to like it when musicians make all their songs about sex, which is what she means by "get down music".)
Movies
Hot: "Almost Famous" - It was the '70s, and all the clothes were so cool. I love that movie.
Not: "The Cell" - I left in the middle of the movie. I found the movie very sick. I was like, how did the director come up with this, 'cause there's so many sick things happening with the people in the movie? Maybe people think it's a good movie. But I didn't find it entertaining.
TV Shows
Hot: "Ally McBeal"
Not: "Frasier" - I don't get "Frasier", I don't know why. I don't really find it funny at all.
And we have those bad TV shows in Norway, like "Survivor" or "Real World", with these people in Norway living in a house, and another one with people on this island in Malaysia with cameras following them all the time. It's just so stupid, but I have to watch it!
Food
Hot: I eat a lot of food. We were just in Chile, and it's all this seafood with cheese on it. It's really good.
Not: At our house, it's like you don't hate anything. "When you can eat those candies, you can eat anything," my dad says. But in Mexico they told me they have tacos with bugs in them, and you eat them! I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like that.
Books
Hot: I read a really good book in Norwegian. It's called "Beatles". It's about four guys in Norway living when the Beatles were popular, and it's about how their music affected their lives. It's a really funny book. It's about teenagers. I think you can get it in English. It's by Lars Saabye Christensen.
Not: There's a lot of books in school I don't like. Like social studies right now! It's [the text book] about politics, and I think it's very boring. Politics can be cool, you know ... discussions, but to learn about the different groups ...
Places
Hot: Montreal here in Canada. I LOVE IT. We were there not long ago and we were staying near St. Catherines Street. I shopped so much that I haven't shopped since. Boots, a jacket. All the restaurants there were good. And all these handsome guys walking down the street. I was like, is it just models living here?
Not: I mostly like the places I've been to. Every time I've been to Germany it's always been very dark and rainy, but it has some nice places. It wouldn't be fair to say that I don't like a place.
Clothes
Hot: I just got a jacket that I love. It goes down to my knees and it's brown leather. I also got a coat in Montreal. It's like '70s style with fake fur, and it's long.
Not: I don't get guys who wear Capri pants. I don't like guys wearing those pants. Also, guys wearing platforms. I don't like that.
Girls ... I don't know. For me, I love flared pants. I hate when pants get very tight at the bottom. That's just for me, though. It can look good on other people.
