Mel C's mate may produce her new album

Mel C is hoping her boyfriend will produce her next album.

Mel, (Sporty Spice), is dating Five's J and said the two will probably team up the next time Mel decides to record a solo album, Empire Online reports.

"I respect what he does, people don't realize how talented he is," she said. It's like with the Spice Girls, they're all very different musically and he's a very talented guy. If circumstances changed and we were just buddies then I'd probably work with him...(but) because he produces, maybe he'll produce my next record, that'll save a bit of cash, and then he can buy me dinner!"

Mel went on to say that the new Spice album should be released in November and is tentatively being called "Third Time Around".
