Sporty Spice has confirmed the suspicions of most Spice Girls fans: the group won't be getting together in the near future.
Melanie C said that the Spice Girls aren't breaking up, but they are taking a long break from working with each other, the BBC reports.
Speaking from Israel before a concert, Mel said that Posh, Baby and Scary are all taking time to concentrate on their own personal careers.
"I'll always be a Spice girl, just like Geri -- even though she left a long time ago," Mel said. "As a ban,d we've got no plans to work together in the next couple of years. We're just doing solo work."
