Mel C launches radio

Mel C (a.k.a Sporty Spice), plans to launch Digital One, the first digital radio network in the U.K. today.

According to Dotmusic, the first song to be played will be Mel's single "Northern Star" that's released today.

"Northern Star" will be played by Core Radio, a digital station that will compete with Radio One, (the UK's pop music station).

Four other new radio stations will launch today which means Digital One will be the world's biggest digital radio network.
