*Nsync delay album
Be strong, *Nsync fans, the boys have some bad news.
The boy band's record label, Jive, just announced that *Nsync will be pushing back the release date of their upcoming album "Celebrity" from June 26 to July 24 and that their tour has also been delayed, MTV reports.
According to a Jive spokesperson, the group hasn't finished recording "Celebrity". The album includes some songs written and produced by the *Nsync-ers themselves, with help from people such as Rodney Jerkins, Brian McKnight, the Neptunes and Wade Robinson.
The change in dates for the group's "PopOdyssey" tour marks the second time the large-scale show has been delayed.
Originally the tour was supposed to kick off on May 12 at Miami's Pro Player Stadium. Then the opening date was moved to May 18 at Jacksonville's Alltel Stadium.
The first delay was because "PopOdyssey" reportedly requires large-scale effects and preparations, some of which weren't going to be ready by the May 12 date. Now the tour is scheduled to start in Jacksonville on May 23.
The first single from "Celebrity," will be called "Pop" and will hit radio on May 15.
