Scary gives ex-husband money

Mel B is bailing out her estranged husband.

Scary Spice is giving Jimmy Gulzar a gift of $137,519.10 (Cdn) as they continue to work out their divorce settlement, The English Sun reports.

Mel has already given Jimmy $50,429.57 (Cdn) and will give him the remaining $87,124.77(Cdn), over the next few weeks.

Jimmy hasn't worked since he danced for The Spice Girl's World Tour in 1998 and his credit rating is low enough that he was recently denied a gold credit card.

"It hit him hard," a friend of Jimmy's said. "Jimmy is used to the high life after 18 months with Mel. Now it's different."

Mel's recent gift should tide Jimmy over until the final divorce settlement is reached. Mel gave Jimmy the money because she didn't want to see him struggle until the two figure out how much money he'll get through the divorce.

"Even though they've split up, he's still the father of her child and she wants to make sure he's okay," a friend of Mel's said.

Jimmy and Mel are reportedly trying to make the divorce as friendly as possible and are using Mel's sister Danielle as the go-between.
