Mel's husband moves on
It looks like Jimmy Gulzar can't get enough of female pop stars.
Jimmy, who's the soon-to-be ex-husband of Mel B (Scary Spice), is now dating a pop-star-in-waiting, the Daily Mirror reports.
Emily Friendship and two other girls, Jay Jefferson and Mari Baade, have formed a group titled Jem. They've already signed a deal with Jive records, home to the Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears.
A single from Jem is expected in the spring, and the group is reported to have recorded six tracks already.
"Everyone is extremely excited by this project", a source from Jive told the Daily Mirror. "The three girls look spectacular. They are far more glamorous than the Spice Girls, even when they're not wearing make-up. The songs recorded so far are cutting-edge pop tunes. We feel extremely confident that we have a big, big act on our hands."
Jimmy, who used to be a dancer on the Spice Girls' World Tour, knows people in the music industry and is reportedly helping Emily as much as he can.
