Spice Girls North American tour announced

Prepare yourself for a spicy summer. Via satellite feed from Wembley Arena, the chart-topping British quintet known as the Spice Girls recently announced dates for their impending North American tour, including three Canadian dates.

The 2.5 month tour will kick off June 15 in Miami and wind its way across North America, ending in Dallas on August 26.

The tour promises to showcase songs from both best-selling albums, Spice and Spiceworld. This will be the first full-fledged tour for the Spice Girls. They have previously only played one-off gigs, including one in Instabul that was released on home video.

Tickets for the North American tour are to go on sale Saturday, May 2 in Canada and April 18 in the US.
