It's not really goodbye for Spice Girls
LONDON (AP and Jam!) -- The Spice Girls don't want fans to take the title of their new song 'Goodbye' too literally.
The British pop queens are trying to end rumours about an impending split after the departure of Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell and the pregnancies of two other members.
"Although the song is called, 'Goodbye', the chorus is actually 'goodbye my friend, it's not the end,'" said Melanie (Scary Spice) Brown.
"So for all those people who think we're breaking up, we're not!"
The 5-track 'Goodbye' ep is set for release December 8. The Girls' third home video 'Live at Wembley' - featuring the September 20, 1998 concert that was recently screened on pay-per-view - is set for a November 24th Canadian release date. The Goodbye ep will feature two live tracks from the Wembley concert.
Brown and Posh Spice Victoria Adams both are expecting babies early next year. The group, which has sold 40 million albums worldwide, also includes Sporty Spice Melanie Chisholm and Baby Spice Emma Bunton.
