Posh Spice salary: $14M
By -- AllPop
The Spice Girls are set to release another home video. The band's last offering was their homecoming show at Wembley last September.
The new video - entitled 'Spice Girls in America - A Tour History' - is a behind the scenes look at the American leg of the Spiceworld World Tour juggernaut - a world tour that was comprised of 103 shows in over 66 cities over two continents.
Set for release July 27 through Virgin, the 90 minute video, directed by Ian Denyer, follows the band on tour throughout the summer of 1998 as they wound their was across the United States and Canada. According to a statement from Virgin, the video "takes us on a trip, which travels through the highs and lows with the Spice Girls."
More than just a glossed over highlight reel, Virgin promises this video will show "the gruelling schedules on tour, the tiredness, the homesickness, the comraderie between the girls and their feelings of both joy and sadness at finishing the tour."
As the video follows the band through the summer of 1998, it also captures the moment that 'Viva Forever' hit #1 in the UK, as well as when Posh and Scary announced their pregnancies.
Posh notes, "The cameras weren't turned off at all on the tour - we let ourselves be filmed no matter what was happening."
