Solo Spice

Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) tries singing solo-style.

According to Dotmusic, Mel C. says Victoria is working on solo material with Spice Girls songwriting collaborator, Elliott Kennedy.

Kennedy worked on the Spice Girls' "Say You'll Be There," and co-wrote "You'll Be There," a Byan Adams song featuring Mel C.

Victoria's spokeswoman won't confirm the report.

"She's in the studio, but it's not necessarily for solo stuff. She's writing tracks but there's no solo single or tour planned from Victoria's point of view," said the spokeswoman.

Victoria's spokeswoman went on to say that the stylish Spic Girl wants to try an acting career but hasn't decided on a particular project yet.

Spice Girls with solo projects include Mel C, ex-Spice Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton.
