Posh Spice denies eating disorder

Victoria Adams (Posh Spice), is fighting rumours that she's lost too much weight since the birth of her son eight months ago.

The U.K. Daily Mail printed a story titled "Skeletal Spice" that claimed Victoria was setting a bad example for young female fans, Reuters reported.

"It is a pity that the message sent to young girls is that a bit of fat is something to dread. It is even more of a pity that that message is being sent by a woman so many young girls adore."

The article was accompanied by a picture of Posh going to a party for Elton John. She claimed the photograph made her look thinner than she actually is.

The stylish Spice Girl decided to head off the rumours and told her side of the story in Wednesday's Mirror.

"I'm not anorexic. I'm not bulimic and I'm not a skeleton. I'm seven and a half stone, very fit - and I've never felt better in my life," Victoria said.

Victoria said she has lost weight since having her son Brooklyn, but insisted she hasn't changed her eating habits claiming she ate two bowls of cereal, two chicken fillets and vegetables and a "mom's special" on Tuesday.
