Cover-girl Spice

The four Spice Girls will grace Elle magazine's first millennium cover.

Sporty, Posh, Baby and Scary will be on the January 2000 cover of Elle which is due on Dec. 8th, Music 365 reported.

Actress Uma Thurman was originally supposed to pose for the cover shot. Editor's reportedly dropped Uma for the Spices when they learned the girls were available.

Elle magazine won't be the only thing boasting a replica of the Spice Girls. The finishing touches are now being done to wax replicas of each member.

The wax versions of the Spice Girls are being produced by sculptors at Madame Tussaud's. The girls are the first band to have a wax statue made for every member since the Beatles in 1964.

The waxy Spices will go on display at Madame Tussaud's Rock Circus in the U.K. on Dec. 17.
