Robbie's new single

Robbie Williams is about to release his new single.

The UK pop star plans to release "I Don't Wanna Rock DJ" in the UK on July 31, NME reports.

The new single is the first from his upcoming album scheduled for release this fall. Robbie isn't giving away any details about his new music but some are expecting Robbie is trying out a new musical direction on this album.

In more Robbie news, the singer is showing his charitable side in Mozambique this week, the BBC reports.

Robbie is on a week-long charity trip for UNICEF. He is meeting with families and members of Kindlimuka - an organization of people living with HIV/AIDS.

"I didn't really understand how serious it is here until I came," Robbie said. "When you're with them, and there's the smiles and the big teeth and the big eyes, you forget and you just see kids. You don't see kids with an illness, you don't see kids without families, you just see kids smiling. The fact that I am a high-profile person will bring attention to places like Mozambique. I'm just glad I can do it."
