Robbie Williams may have broken a world record.

The U.K. pop star sold over $15 million (Cdn) worth of tickets in six hours for his British tour, Dotmusic reports.

The tickets went on sale yesterday morning and all 243,600 tickets had been sold out by 3pm that day.

"The demand we've had in the past for Oasis and even Cliff Richard took some beating," said a ticket venue spokesman. "But these went like lightning."
