Robbie regrets Pepsi deal

Robbie wishes he could take back his gift to Pepsi.

The U.K. pop star thinks that "United" should have been released as a single and not just used for a Pepsi ad, dotmusic reports.

"He knows it would have been a massive hit," said an insider. "He's wishing he hadn't given Pepsi such a good song."

In more Robbie news, the singer is being forced to give the writers of "I'm In Ecstasy When You Lay Down To Me" credit on his album along with his songwriting partners, Kelvin Andrews and Guy Chambers.

The similarities between the song and Robbie's upcoming single "Rock DJ" were pointed out to the pop star, and the writers of the 1977 hit will now receive royalties from the new song.
