Robbie keeps busy
Robbie Williams will finally have his chance to fight in an upcoming video game.
The fiery U.K. pop star challenged Oasis star Liam Gallagher to a fight earlier this year and was rumoured to be involved in a bar brawl last weekend but "Knockout Kings 2001" will provide Robbie with a forum to punch, MTV reports.
Robbie's character will fight Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and Oscar De La Hoya in the new game.
In more Robbie news, the singer is scheduled to release his new album "Sing When You're Winning" in North America on October 3.
The title of his album has reportedly upset his former Take That bandmate.
Gary Barlow, who was in the U.K. boyband with Robbie, hasn't enjoyed the same level of solo success that Robbie has and was dropped by his record company this year, the London Sun reports.
According to insiders, Gary thinks the title is an insult directed at him because he isn't singing or winning.
"They've been rivals since they were in Take That," one of Gary's friends told the Sun. "He can't believe that Robbie's still putting the boot in. Robbie loves to shove his success in Gary's face."
In even more Robbie news, the pop star is claiming that the late John Lennon helped him with a new track, the BBC reports.
Robbie claimed that he asked the Beatles legend to help him write the song "Better Man" which is included on his new album.
"I sat down and I said: 'John Lennon, if you're there, send us a song' - and low and behold I started to strum these chords that I'd never strummed before," he said. "I'd never sung any of these words together before and you know what? This song came out in an hour."
