Robbie records with Queen

Robbie Williams is getting a new band for one song only.

The U.K. pop star is took over for the late singer Freddie Mercury to record with Queen, Wall Of Sound reports.

Robbie's spokesman says Robbie plans to record a new version of "We Are The Champions" with Queen for the soundtrack to "A Knight's Tale" starring Heath Ledger ("The Patriot").

"There are no plans to release it as a single here or in the U.S.," said the spokesman. "It's for a film, so it will just be part of a soundtrack."

Mercury, Queen's original lead singer, died of AIDS in 1991.
