Robbie Williams is Mr. Popular
U.K. pop star, Robbie Williams topped the popularity list this year.
A poll in a computer games magazine listed Robbie as the most popular icon for British youth, ITN reported.
Robbie's fame can be traced by to his days in the British boy-band Take That and his recent solo career. His single "She's the One," topped the U.K. charts last month.
Alan Shearer, an English soccer star, came second in the poll and rapper/actor Will Smith ("Fresh Prince of Bel Air", "Independence Day"), came in third.
Politicians don't seem to be the most admired icons in the U.K. English Prime Minister Tony Blair only came in 5th place. Blair was knocked out of fourth place by an non-existant "cyberbabe" named Lara Croft who appears in virtual games.
Moody rock band, Oasis, came in 8th beating Jesus who came in 15th.
