And, so they end

Around noon, most of the GM's had bags in their hands and started heading their separate ways.
In the next few days, many hope to send some players packing.
Mats Sundin. Marian Hossa. Alex Tanguay. Rob Blake. They were all discussed at this week's NHL GM's meetings that wrapped up yesterday. But, nobody has anything in particular in place. There was only one "done" deal when the Flyers acquired Jaroslav Modry from the Kings.
"There are not a lot of names being thrown around, so if you’re getting those names perhaps you could pass them along to me," said Calgary GM Darryl Sutter this morning.
All talk. No action. But with the Feb. 26th trade deadline fast approaching, there should be some moves on the weekend.
“I’m not surprised things don’t get finished here," said Los Angeles GM Dean Lombardio. "This is following the same trend as it always has in the past. It goes from kicking tires to sketching. We’ll see where we are when we get home.”
