With the win, the Rochester Americans sweep the Hamilton Bulldogs 4-0 in the best-of-seven North Division Semi-Final series, and advance to the North Division Final.

With the win, the Bulldogs ended a four-game losing streak versus the Maple Leafs, and stretched their home winning streak to a season-high three games. The game was played in front of a season-high crowd of 11,296 at Copps Coliseum.

Friday, Jan. 28, 2005 - Yann Danis was perfect, making 36 saves on 36 shots in the Hamilton Bulldogs 3-0 shutout victory over the Syracuse Crunch on Friday night at Copps Coliseum...The Bulldogs opened the scoring at 2:27 of the first period when forward Tomas Plekanec posted his team leading 16th goal of the season. Chris Higgins put a high centering pass through the crease and Plekanec batted the puck out of mid-air to beat Crunch goaltender Karl Goehring...Plekanec and Higgins connected again at 2:44 of the third period. Higgins took a drop pass from Plekanec and snapped a high shot into the top corner to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead...The Bulldogs took a 3-0 lead when Higgins scored his second goal of the game into an empty net at 18:01 of the third period...
Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004 - After beating the Barons by a combined score of 8-2 in back-to-back games on Tuesday and Friday night, the Bulldogs were back on the ice at Copps Coliseum on Saturday night in search of their third-straight win over their North Division rival. But, with the game tied at three in overtime, a long point shot off of the stick of Barons blue liner Christian Ehrhoff beat Bulldogs backstop Dan Ellis, as Cleveland came from behind to beat Hamilton 4-3...Ehrhoff's second power-play goal of the game, and third of the season ended a three-game slide for the Barons, also putting the Bulldogs two-game winning streak to sleep...
Friday, Nov. 5, 2004 - After beating the Barons 5-1 in Cleveland on Tuesday night, the Bulldogs returned to Hamilton on Friday for the second of back-to-back-to-back games versus their North Division rival. Already up 2-0 on first period goals by Corey Locke and Dan Jancevski, the 'Dogs added some insurance midway through the second...Jason Ward's fourth of the season made it 3-0, but, just as he did with just one minute remaining in Tuesday night's game, Patrick Rissmiller played the role of spoiler, as he ended Yann Danis' shut-out bid just under five minutes into the third, but it was too little, too late for the Barons...

Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004 - After stealing two points from the Syracuse Crunch last night, the Hamilton Bulldogs returned home on Sunday for a showdown with the Manitoba Moose. The game's opening goal did not come until the 33 minute and 45 second mark of the season, when Marc-Andre Thinel made it 1-0 Hamilton. But, Manitoba answered back just 20 seconds into the third, when Ryan Kesler's floater from just inside the blue line somehow beat Bulldogs backstop Dan Ellis to make it 1-1. That goal seemed to lift the Moose, who took the lead for good with just under five minutes remaining in the third...Goren's sixth goal of the season proved to be the game-winner, as the Moose beat the Bulldogs 2-1 at Copps Coliseum. The win was Manitoba's third straight, and first in Hamilton in eight tries dating back to February 1st, 2003.
Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004 - Following a tough 2-1 OT loss to the Binghamton Senators on Saturday night, the Hamilton Bulldogs returned home on Sunday afternoon to host the Edmonton Road Runners in what was the third game in as many days for both North Division teams. And if playing three games in two-and-a-half days wasn't difficult enough, for the second straight day, the 'Dogs were forced into overtime, but this time, they would not be denied... Plekanec's fourth goal in the last three games was the winner, as the Hamilton Bulldogs ended a two-game slide, and stayed perfect on home-ice this season following a 3-2 overtime win. For the Edmonton Road Runners, the loss ended a four-game winning streak.
Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004 - Following a 3-2 overtime loss in their season opener on Friday night, and a 1-0 shutout win in a rematch with the Road Runners at Rexall Place last night, the Bulldogs returned to Copps Coliseum in Hamilton on Sunday, for their 2004-2005 home-opener versus the Manitoba Moose. And after relinquishing 1-0, 2-1, and 3-2 leads, Doug Jarvis' 'Dogs finally buried Randy Carlisle's herd once and for all at the 7:15 mark of period number three...
