The Canadian Sport Awards is a gala event that honours Canada's athletes and showcases their efforts in a national celebration of sport.

For the past 26 years, Canadian athletes have aspired to be the best in the world. Athletes like Elvis Stojko, Caroline Brunet and Catriona Le May Doan are committed to achieving excellence in life and in sport. In 1998, these athletes proved to themselves and the world that they have what it takes to be true champions.

Join two of Canada's most respected sportscasters, Ron MacLean and Marie Jose Turcotte, as they co-host the 26th Annual Canadian Sport Awards.

Don't miss this opportunity to meet and greet our current sport heroes and share the thrill of victory with some of Canada's past sport legends too. You might even share some of Curt Harnett's or Marnie McBean's winning ways over dinner.

Over the years, Canadian athletes have gone the extra mile for their country. The Canadian Sport Awards is an important opportunity to recognize their efforts as they strive for excellence every day. Here's your chance to show your appreciation by joining Canada's premier athletes for this gala event.

Once again, the Spirit of Sport Foundation is proud to bring you this event on behalf of it's event partners; the Canada Games Council, Athletes CAN, the Commonwealth Games Association of Canada, and the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport. As partners, we continually strive for business excellence by ensuring a quality production and professional management.
