Royal Bank Charitable Foundation National Aboriginal Coaching Awards
Outstanding Male and Female Aboriginal CoachCoaching is the cornerstone of community sport and recreation. Likewise, the success of Aboriginal sport development depends on the leadership of qualified coaches. In support of training Aboriginal coaches through the 3M National Coaching Certification Program, the Aboriginal Sport Circle, in partnership with the Royal Bank of Canada Charitable Foundation and the Alwyn Morris Education and Athletic Foundation, has introduced a new national awards program that annually recognizes outstanding work of certified Aboriginal coaches across Canada. The Royal Bank Charitable Foundation National Aboriginal Coaching Awards are presented to two coaches who demonstrate a personal commitment to coaching and sport development, offering holistically balanced programs for athletes while maintaining a positive image within their community.
