The ongoing debacle over the government shutdown in the U.S. could drive some to despair.

But unlike their political representatives not everyone is taking the stoppage sitting down - they've taken to their social media networks to heap scorn on various politicians and parties.

If the U.S. government does not increase its $16.7 trillion borrowing limit, it will not be able to issue debt to pay its bills, leading to a possible default. The Republicans and Democrats are blaming each other but many are also blaming both sides for failing to come to an agreement.
