Survivors of a textile factory collapse that killed 1,130 people in April accuse foreign firms, including Loblaw, of failing to compensate them as promised.

A QMI Agency investigation revealed meagre wages, abject poverty and dangerous working conditions in the south Asian country where Loblaw's Joe Fresh clothes are made.

The April 24 collapse of Rana Plaza, a factory built on swampy ground outside Dhaka with several illegal floors, ranks amongst the world's worst industrial accidents.
