Some of Adam Sandler's movies feature so much heavy-handed advertising (remember Popeyes in Little Nicky?) that we have to wonder whether he's been working out these deals personally.
Product placement in movies has existed as long as the form, and before that it occurred in literature.
It was famously lampooned in 1992's Wayne's World - albeit with real products.
