One thing about the royal nuptials taking place next week, is that from dressmakers to pastry chefs to idea gurus and more, everyone's getting in on the act. You have hotels throwing the best early-morning soirees to drink companies creating signature cocktails to food companies creating royal treats in celebration of what is shaping up to be the most watched wedding in marriage history.
What's next? How about a cold slice of the royal wedding cake? Cold Stone Creamery Canada has just created a new flavour inspired by the chocolate biscuit cake to be served at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding this month.
Royal Wedded Bliss combines decadent chocolate ice cream with rich yellow cake, dark chocolate shavings and fudge – the ultimate treat fit for a prince and his beautiful bride. The inspiration for this chocolate biscuit cake, is a royal family favourite and was personally requested by Prince William for the reception.
“We’re happy to join the rest of the world in celebrating the upcoming royal wedding,” says Andrea Hughes, Cold Stone Creamery Canada’s resident ice cream expert. “Cold Stone Creamery Canada is contributing to the excitement in the best way we know how – a delicious new Signature Creation. Not everyone is invited, but we hope Royal Wedded Bliss will make Canadians feel like they’re one of the royal guests!”
Royal Wedded Bliss will be available for special order for a limited time at 100 Tim Hortons restaurants across Canada where Cold Stone Creamery’s ice cream is sold. Prices range from $4.49 to $5.69 depending on the cup or cone size. To find a location, visit Timhortons.com.
