The Fairmont Royal York Hotel will be rolling out the red carpet to commemorate the marriage of Miss Catherine Middleton and His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales during the live television broadcast of their highly anticipated wedding at Westminster Abbey.

To celebrate the unforgettable affair, The Library Bar and EPIC Lounge will be hosting celebration activities and two early morning British-themed dining experiences during the televised broadcast starting at five in the morning this coming Friday.

The Royal Wedding will be a wedding of enormous proportions as the second in succession for the throne marries his long time sweetheart. The Fairmont Royal York celebrates this auspicious occasion by placing a red carpet in the Lobby, a mailbox for well wishes that will be sent to the newlywed couple and screens to watch the wedding in both Library Bar and EPIC Lounge. During the celebrations Royal lookalikes are anticipated and welcome at the hotel. All Royal Lookalikes will receive a commemorative gift.

Royal Tea, a time honoured tradition at Toronto's Fairmont Royal York, will be served starting at 5 a.m. on April 29 during the live broadcast of Kate and William's wedding on TV screens in the Library Bar. EPIC will also be broadcasting the wedding live while serving guests with a traditional English Breakfast. The Royal Wedding Tea in the Library Bar is $35, exclusive of taxes,  per person and includes: a fine selection of premium Fairmont loose leafs teas, seasonal berry cocktail, traditional finger sandwiches (lobster, smoked salmon, cucumber, Manchego, brie), a selection of pastries (pastry swans, clafoutis, chocolate cakes, madelines) and house-baked Royal York cranberry scones with Devonshire cream and preserves.

The Fairmont Royal York's Royal English Breakfast in EPIC is $21, exclusive of taxes, per person and includes: two eggs any style, bacon rashers, black pudding, baked beans, braised mushrooms and hash brown potatoes.
