SUMMER JOB CONTEST

My best summer job

It was the summer of '69. I landed a job at the CNE, selling hamburgers.

To my surprise, my mother would be temporarily working at the grandstand backstage.

For the next two weeks, I couldn't foresee the many wonderful experiences that I would have. I had the opportunity to meet The Monkees, The Temptations, Bob Hope and many others.

Over the years, I have pulled out my memory box and reminisce about all of the autographs I was so fortunate to have collected, and remember how hard I worked that year at the Ex.
