![]() The 31-year-old Huscroft was a ninth-round choice (171st overall) of the New Jersey Devils in the 1985 entry draft. He spent seven years in the Devils' organization, playing a total of 65 games. Huscroft joined the Bruins as a free agent in 1992 and split his playing time between Boston and Providence (AHL). Signed as a free agent by the Calgary Flames just prior to the 1995-96 season, Huscroft enjoyed his best NHL output in Calgary when he scored three goals and 12 points in 70 games, also accumulating 162 PIM. Huscroft was traded from the Flames to Tampa Bay in March of 1997. The Canucks acquired him from the Lightning a year later in exchange of enforcer Enrico Ciccone.
