Rolston still in shock
DENVER (CP) -- When Brian Rolston found out friend and former teammate Claude Lemieux was coming back to the New Jersey Devils, he was excited -- until he learned he had been traded for Lemieux.The 26-year-old forward was stunned after being traded for the first time in his career.
"It's different coming to a new team," Rolston told the Denver Post. "The shock hasn't really worn off, but I couldn't be more excited to be here with this team. It's another team that will be contending for the Stanley Cup."
