Forsberg to test shoulder
Denver(CP) -- Avs trainer Pat Karns confirmed the plan is to take Forsberg on the trip, and test his left shoulder, which was operated on in June, in practice.It is doubtful Forsberg, earning $9 million this season, will return to the Avs' lineup this month, but an early December return is likely.
Meanwhile, Adam Foote, the Avs top defenceman, will return to the lineup Thursday, along with veteran blue-liner Jon Klemm.
Foote has been out for six straight games with a bruised left shoulder, while Klemm has been sidelined since Oct. 23 with a groin problem.
