Avs deny Forsberg rumour
PHILADELPHIA (CP) -- The Avalanche denied a Swedish newspaper report that centre Peter Forsberg would return to the lineup by Nov. 5, at the latest."Nothing has changed about his return," Avalanche director of communications Jean Martineau told the Denver Post.
A December return remains the timetable, although the exact date has not been targeted.
Forsberg did not accompany the team on its last two road games, staying in Denver instead to continue a rehabilitation program from June shoulder surgery
