Friday, May 7, 1999 Glen Murray undergoes shoulder surgeryINGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) -- Los Angeles Kings right-winger Glen Murray underwent arthroscopic surgery to remove scar tissue from his left shoulder.Kings team physician Dr. Ronald Kvitne of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic performed the surgery Thursday. The team said Murray, 26, would begin rehabilitation immediately and is expected to make a full recovery. Murray played in 61 games this season and had 16 goals and 15 assists. The Kings acquired Murray from the Pittsburgh Penguins on March 18, 1997, for forward Ed Olczyk. In 436 career games, Murray has 104 goals and 95 assists.
