    Sens lose Phillips for 4-6 weeks

     TORONTO (CP) -- Senators defenceman Chris Phillips will have surgery on his ankle Wednesday and will be out of action four to six weeks.
     
     Losing Phillips came as a surprise. He has been troubled by a sore ankle for the last month and it's hoped the surgery will help correct the problem. He missed two months last year because of a similar injury.
     
     "It's just disappointing because I've missed so much hockey," Phillips told the Ottawa Sun. "At least with this procedure, when I come back I'll be fine for the final two months of the regular season."
