Yashin's former linemates struggle
OTTAWA (CP) -- Seven games into the Ottawa Senators season, Shawn McEachern and Andreas Dackell are still without a goal.The two former linemates of holdout Alexei Yashin, who were so hot last year the trio was dubbed the Ministry of Offence, have three assists between them.
"When we lose, obviously we need to score more goals," McEachern told the Ottawa Citizen. "I've had the chances, they're just not going in. You've just got to keep shooting."
Dackell also says he's not overly concerned about his point totals -- yet.
"As long as you're creating chances, you will score. But you want to have that goal very soon," he said.
