    Big debut for Lalime

BY CHRIS STEVENSON -- Ottawa Sun
PHILADELPHIA -- Patrick Lalime must think he's died and gone to goaltender's heaven. Playing in his first NHL game in more than two years, the Senators' backstop saved 17 shots to shut out the Flyers 3-0 last night.
"What more can a goalie ask for?" said Lalime, who got the call with Ron Tugnutt still recovering from a knee injury. "The guys were blocking shots and taking away the rebounds. They really played well in front of me and that's nice to see. It was a great team effort."
The 25-year-old, who spent the last two years in the minors, recorded his fourth career shutout in his 40th NHL game.
"I had two good years in the minors and I was looking for another chance. That's the only way to do it," he said after helping the Senators to run their unbeaten record in season openers to four games (2-0-2).
