    Sens get some extra Expos-ure

By CHRIS STEVENSON -- Ottawa Sun
PHILADELPHIA -- The Senators were staying in the same Philly hotel as the Montreal Expos who were in town to close out their National League season against the Phillies.
Expos PR director P.J. Loyello, who used to do the same job for the Lynx, left 16 tickets for Senators players and brass to take in the season finale at the Vet yesterday. Yes, that was Senators president Roy Mlakar wearing a red Expos hat three rows up behind the Expos' dugout, sitting with Senators coaches Jacques Martin, Andre Savard and Perry Pearn.
SALO OUT: Senators D Sami Salo is nursing a sore rib cage after taking a hit against the boards from the Flyers' Eric Lindros. Salo didn't skate with his teammates yesterday and is listed as day-to-day. If he can't play tomorrow night in New York, his spot in the lineup will be taken by Patrick Traverse, who sat out the opener.
SOLID START: Senators 19-year-old rookie Mike Fisher had a solid debut, buzzing around the puck for most of the close to 13 minutes he played against the Flyers. "He was physical and he used his speed to get on top of them defensively," said Martin. "I think it helped him to play with (Rob) Zamuner and (Andreas) Dackell, two experienced veterans and good position players."
