    Great start for Coyotes

     PHOENIX (CP) -- The Phoenix Coyotes' 4-1-2 start is the best in franchise history, and they've done it without No. 1 goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin.
     The restricted free agent didn't get the new deal he wanted so has stayed away. Enter Mikhail Shtalenkov, who is 4-1-1.
     "We've placed an emphasis on coming out hard and trying to get the lead," new coach Bob Francis says of his team's penchant for starting games well.
