    Former WHL junior out for season

     ST. LOUIS (CP) -- Blues prospect Jaroslav Obsut will have knee surgery today on a torn anterior cruciate ligament and won't play hockey again this season. Obsut was with the AHL farm team in Worcester, Mass.
     
     The 23-year-old Czech defenceman played junior hockey in Swift Current, Edmonton and Medicine Hat. He was a free agent when the Blues signed him last April. He was drafted 188th overall in 1995 by Winnipeg.
