Leafs barking up the wrong tree

ST. LOUIS (CP) -- The Toronto Maple Leafs are searching for the puck used to score their last goal at Maple Leaf Gardens. They believed that Derek King, who scored the goal, had taken the puck with him to St. Louis, but King said he never had it.
"It was a 6-2 game. I wasn't going to fish the puck out of the net in a 6-2 game," King told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "If they want one, I can find one for them."
Blues defenceman Dave Ellett, another former Leaf, suggested getting a puck, rubbing it on the ground and taking a chunk out of it.
"Then, it'll look like Tie (Domi) used it," he said with a laugh.
